E9.2 Modify R04572T1

I've been asked to modify R04572T1 to change the sort order to go by Invoice Number (VINV) for the payment detail. The problem being that it use's a subsection join and VINV is not available in both sections. The subsection is using HDC, CKC for the join so adding VINV to the subsection sequence still won't get the desired output. Has anyone else tried changing the sort with a subsection join where the field is not available in both sections? Your insights would be most helpful.
