I've done that migration and there are two ways to accomplish it :
a) Insert SQL2000 Enterprise Edition CD, run Setup and will replace
DBMS SQL2000 Standard executables by those from Enterprise.
b) Backup user and SQL databases. Remove SQL 2000 Standard, install
SQL2000 Enterprise (keeping SQL Service Pack levels), restore master,
msdb and model databases, restore user databases.
Option B takes longer, but personally speaking : I prefer it.
