E9.1 Messages on Work Order Header

Dears,
Does anyone ever try to attach some information automatically to WO header per Item/BP point of view? I like to know anything I can do other than the messages from SO/W line. Thanks in advance!

We have customized R31415 extensively to include various Print messages and Text Attachments from a variety of sources.
All custom programming though.

My situation is interesting that client moved from SAP to JDE, and they used when creating the WO have multiple "version" can be chosen that each version links to correspondent batch size, machnes, and materials. These are not standard JDE BOM/Rouitng type can covere, and so I am thinking if can provide some attachemnts to be brought to work order header so they can have a look for reference.
Well seems not JDE standard can support but thanks for the comments!
