Last purchase price comes auto in PO

Dear all,
How to define Purchase Price level in Item Master? so that Last Purchase Price show in Price field of PO Automatically. when we enter the Item Code in PO Detail so the Last Purchase Price should show automatically in Price Column.

Set the purchase price level to 3 and the purchasing costing method to 08. This should cause the last purchase price to be the default price on the PO line.

thanks for reply, i have entered the following Information in P4101


1. Enter PURCHASE PRICE LEVEL = 3
2. Go to ROW and click on COST REVISION
3. selected the ITEM BRANCH PLANT and SELECTED PURCHASING = 08


but it is not showing the Purchase price of the item automatically in PO Purchase Price Field

Is there an actual 08 record in place for the item in the branch? That should be all there is required and I've checked this configuration on our 9.1 system.

Yes Russel, i have done the same, what you instruct me. but no success. can you please give me your mail id? i will send you Print screen of my working in ms. word document. we are also using 9.1.5.
