Kronos Time Keeping System and JDE

We are looking into the Kronos Time Keeping system and want to know how it
has worked (or not) for other companies. If you have experience using this
with JDE, can you answer the following questions...

* Was the installation Centralized (AS/400 based) or De-Centralized
(pc based)?
* What pieces of Kronos were installed?
* How did the installation go, integration with JDE?
* Were any installations done by a company called NW Micro-Technics?
* Would you or someone in your company be available to answer other
questions regarding this product?

Coexist: with AS/400 Enterprise server
* Xe sp 15 (sandbox 17) and update 1
* A73 cum 12

XE sp15; coexist on AS/400 with A73 cum 12 x3

We're running B733.2 and Kronos Workforce Central.

Each app runs on it's own box which are both 4 way Compaq Proliant.

Installation is fine for Kronos, however it does not have any automated
install tools like JDE.

Kronos is a pretty stable product by itself.

We also have both apps running on TSE to server remote users.

Integration? What Integration. You basically have to write an interface
between two products that are not designed to work together. JDE simply
acknowledge that their product can't do all the time keeping stuff that you
want it to do so they say 'here use this product that works well with JDE'.
It can work well but you have to do the integration. Be careful of who you
get to do the interface. I have a few names I can warn you about.

Never heard of NW Micro-Rechnics.

I heard that either the next release of Xe or B9 will have more
functionality for time keeping and vacation scheduling.

Does anyone know any details about this?

If it is
