Kit Balance Window (P42055) Security

We have just upgraded to EnterpriseOne release 9.1 and are using distribution kits.

Behind the P4205 application there is a PO to display the Kit Balance Window (P42055) when ship confirming a distribution kit. This application should display the kit component lines.

When a user clicks Select in the ship confirm application when shipping the parent kit item they receive the message "User is not authorised to run this application". The P42055 application is not displayed at all. The parent item status codes are advanced but the component line's do not. We have applied Action and Application security to the P42055 but to no avail. When we give them open security then they do not get the message.

The P42055 seems to be a Power Form but not sure if there is any additional security required for these forms.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try granting security to P420551. That is the app the subform alias points to.

Thanks for the reply.

We have granted full security on the P42055 and P420551 but still get the error.

We have looked at the debug log but it is not providing any clues.

by debug log i assume you mean jdedebug.log
You have to look at jasdebug.log too, it displays some security checks that won't appear in jdedebug.log when on web.

Did you:
A) Bounce your web servers / services after making the change?
-or-
B) Clear the Security Cache on the Web Server(s)?
