Just in Time Install

Hi every body

When we send a package deployment to the Terminal Servers, we switch to single
user (chgusr /install) then run OW and the Just In Time Install hang up. To
solve this we have to end the task Just In Time install on the Task Manager,
that is the only way for installation go on.
Somebody knows something about this,

 i appreciate yor help

Aveloa,
When loading a package on your Terminal Server you should first go
to DOS prompt and type;
change user /install
then go to Add/Remove Programs and install the package.
Once the package has been installed go back to DOS prompt and type;
change user /execute
Then log in to OW and let the JITI run. Then bounce the Terminal Server
and all should then be able to log on.
Please note that you should put Terminal Server in install mode also
when you are making changes to the JDE.ini file that you want to
replicate out to your users. Once change is made put Terminal Server
back in execute mode.
Hope this helps.

Re: [Just in Time Install ]

To prevent JITI on the terminal server, run R92TAM and R98CRTGL locally on
a fat client in the environment you are installing, then copy
ddtext.ddb/.xdb; dddict.ddb/.xdb; glbtbl.ddb/.xdb (6 files) from the spec
folder under the specified path code on the client to the spec folder of
the corresponding path code on the terminal server.

Regards,
David Silvasi
