Job Scheduler

Has anyone purchased a job scheduler for JDE thru a 3rd party? If so, from who and how is the functionality and ease of use of that software? We are on JD Edwards OneWorld XE. All of JDE are running on Intel 4.0.

We are looking at a product that another of my clients used (they
implemented it after I left). It is a NT scheduler from Arcana Development
and you can download an eval copy from www.arcanadev.com.

One of the main reasons we wanted it was so we could route scheduler job
output to a particular printer after it completed (B73.3.2).

I am sure it will work fine at my current client too. I should know much
more about it tomorrow but I do know that AT and WinAT are problematic with
OW.

FYI beginning with Service Pack 6/6a NT (Server and Workstation) has a nice new scheduler that is much, much better than AT or WinAT. Look under the "My Computer" icon for the "Scheduled Tasks" folder.

James,
Did you find that this scheduler worked good with JDE NT severs that have jobs that depend on others to complete?
