JDEList Interoperability Forum????

It has been suggested that a new JDEList Interoperability Forum be created? Currently Interoperability questions have been handled within the JDEList OneWorld Forum / Mailing List. I'm interested in how others feel about this. Your opinions please.

I think it is unwise to split up the posts onto various forums. Pretty soon
people do not know there are multiple forums, and thus miss the info they
want, and there are too many places to look to get an overview. Now, sorting
thru the posts by subject is fast enough. I do not see a problem with the
current unified format.

Another bad thing about multiple forums is that some folks, instead of
trying to post to the appropriate forum, send their posts to all forums. The
result is that readers have to wade through duplicate postings.

I also prefer to seeing all subjects covered in a single forum. I can then
determine what is pertinent and what is not.

Some time ago, I was strongly sustaining the Developers Forum creation. It is my experience talking now; I do regret there are two Xe Forums, now. It seems that the freedom of choice doesn't give way to abiding by that choice ... rule, at all.
Therefore, from my current standpoint, I would suggest to go back to ONLY one Xe Forum, where topics such as Interoperability may have more observers, or, why not, more competent replies.

I would keep them to one forum...

I would say that it's actually a good suggestion to have JDEList
Interoperability Forum created as this subject is actually not used by many
people, and actually my senior didn't subscribe to either JDEList OneWorld
Forum / Mailing List because his work is only on the Interoperability as
it's not a standard feature in JDE OW that is must use, and it's not easy
also. This would bring greater means to person who are working dedicately
such as my senior. Also, we can get to know who are the ones who are really
working on this matter, hence may specifically attract more person with
Interop skill to join to this forum and contribute. That's my opinion. Tq.

I agree too......that one forum is better.
Instead of having a separate forum for interoperability, I would suggest that we follow a standard in writing the subject of the post, like we are doing with system configs. E.g. UBE : Tabular report event rule, or FORMS : ..... or INTEROPERABILITY :.....

That will help during searching archives too...

Just a suggestion.....
