JDE Transportation Planning Tool ?

Hi We are looking for a Load / Shipments planning tool/ bolt on solution on JDE. The tool should be able to build loads based upon Outbound / Inbound Shipments and their delivery dates and plan a route.
While in house customization is an option for us ,does any one know of any JDE canned customized solution provider or a business partner organization that has a JDE based bolt-on software application package for this? We find Oracle OTM to be an over kill for this requirement Thanks

You haven't mentioned JDE Transportation Management module - have you excluded this as an option?

Advanced Transportation is built in to E1. It does what you're describing.

A couple of points where we find JDE inadequate

1. EDI Support for 210,214 and 240

2. Load Planning : In JDE I can add Shipment and create manual loads but did not find any optimization tool that can look at delivery dates, weight and cubes and create a load based upon to optimize truckloads. We do not use PCMiler so basic JDE Optimization (Stop sequencing etc ) too is rendered unusable.

3.Appointment management & scheduling doe snot exist in JDE

4. Lane Analysis tools.

We actually are implementing JDE 9.0 with Transportation, and will use UPS Software to optimize the routes. Actually we are in design phase.
