I would appreciate someone reminding me the date when JDE World Software will be supported to. Perhaps if anyone from JDE is reading this they could e-mail me direct at [email protected]

I think I heard mentioned 2005 ? Or will support be offered beyond that date?

Latest news is that support for World will not end.

Unless something has changed in the last two months... JDE will continue to
support past 2005.. they built a whole division of developers and such that
handles WorldSoftware on it's own. Considering over 5000 of their customers
are on World... they had to do something...

JDE has stated that World software will be supported
as long as IBM continues support for the i-series.

Has anyone gotten any information on Co-existence support of World and One
World and when that will end?

The last I heard they had a small Programming staff for World.
This could have changed of course but I seem to remember thinking that the number was, in my opinion, very low.

Support is one thing. That can be handled by a small staff.
Development and Enhancements are another. That is what I would like to know. How much of that is going to be happening.

And NOT just in version 7. I want to know about version 8.

Last I looked at the JDE site - coex was to be withdrawn from ERP9 onwards.
