JDE/ SSIS Call External Program

Hello All,

I have a requirement to trigger/ call a SSIS package from JDE on click of a Row Exit - pass some parameters to the SSIS package.

Is it possible from JDE to call such a program/ package using the Execute External Program BSFN ? If yes, and you have done in the past, could you please share the details.

Rajesh,

This has been discussed numerous times before on JDEList. If you do a search for "Call External Program" on "any date" you should find 163 posts.

You don't mention the enterprise server platform, which is important, as that is where the external program will be run (unless it is being run on a fat client). You also don't mention the version of JDE you are using, which will also have an impact.
