I've taken the JDE OW developer examine at the Sylvan center in Denver and
passed, but like the OwGuru says the questions are obscure. They allowed
me to bring ALL my manuals with me during the 4 hr. examine , but they
really didn't help. If you have 6 months experience as a OW developer you
shouldn't have a problem. Good luck.

Shahroz,
I took the beta version of this exam for B7331 (if memory serves correct),
as well as most of the other tech exams (install, deploying mods, report
design, cnc basic and advanced). Like all of the ow tech certification
exams, it's not terribly difficult, just a little tricky. If you're just
coming out of training, you probably won't pass, but I would suggest taking
it anyway to see what's on it. It requires the ability to remember
specific
(and often obscure) statements from the ow guides rather than real-world
experience. However, experience is the only way you'll be able to think
most of the questions through and figure out what the answers should be.
Unless they've made great strides in the past year or so, it seems that the
authors only had the ow guides as ammunition for coming up with the
questions. If you get a chance to take this or any exam in beta, and they
are still letting you use your books in the beta exams, go for it! But do
your homework before hand, you won't have time to look up every question in
the book unless you really know the book.
Also, keep in mind it is comprehensive from the development standpoint. So
you will need to know all the tools in depth...just forms design won't cut
it. Check with jde training and on the knowledge garden for a description
of what the exam covers and any training material they suggest.
Good Luck!
