JDE.ini for a Server Package Build

Can anyone tell me what, if anything happens to the JDE.ini file on the
Enterprise server when a new server package (full or update) is built and
deployed to it? Does it get overwritten by one from the Deployment box? If
so, where does the Dep. server keep that jde.ini? I know that it keeps the
workstations' ini file in \\..\OneWorldClientInstall\Misc\, but is there
another one that it uses for server builds?

NT 4.0 SP5, MSSQL7.0 SP2, MDAC 2.5, B7332 SP 11.3

to my knowledge, the server jde.ini cannot be changed via a package build. if you could then you would also need to restart jde on your enterprise server because this is the only way the way changes take effect.

The Enterprise Server´s JDE.INI file you can find on your deployment server under
\\dep-server\b733\hosts\<YOURPLATFORM>\<YOURSERVERNAME\ .
This jde.ini is copied to your ES during instalation. You will not need to copy it again. If you build a combined client/server package this ini file will not be deployed to your ES.
If you need to apply changes to the server´s ini file do it directly on the server. You probably have only one or two servers, right?
Thanks, Gerd
