I keep encountering the following Java issue when trying to install the Oracle 12c database engine

This is not an issue with Standalone 9.2 Installer.May be issue is because of your java.

Thank you for your reply. I had already looked Oracle link. Unfortunately, it provided no viable solutions to my issue.

May be you can try clearing the temp and restarting the server and try to reinstall the E1local 12c.

If we troubleshoot , we will open the java console and try to find out some clue to find out the cause of the issue.

For posterity:

I was able to resolve this issue by "starting from scratch". I wiped my Windows 7 virtual machine and started over.
