JDE date routines (API) date masks

Does any one know which UDC is used by the jde API formatdate for these masks ??
:

T - month (strikethrough: number) name, by language, from UDC
(this is the description given in JDE help documentation)
B - Abbreviated month name, by language, from UDC (this is the description
given in JDE help documentation)

I need to print the month name in Spanish....but in my Spanish environment I
only get the English month name. I assume that the relevant UDC has NOT yet been
set up with the Spanish language month names, but which UDC ??

I can not answer your question but have an idea ...
Go to the UTB, open F0005 UDC table, search for "*Jan*" in the DRDL01 field.
I have done it recently on XE and I identified 7 UDC table which lists the month names. Here they are:
06:MN, 07:MN, 76:MO, 76A:MO, 80:MT, 83:CH, H91:MY
My suggestion is that translate all of these UDCs and let's see what happens.

Please, let us know your results. I am really curious to it. Thanks.

Hi Zoltan,
Thanks for the suggestion, but I've already tried something similar to what
you suggest:

In my 'English' environment, for each UDC (that you mentioned below) I modified
the DRDL01 for 9 (or 09) from 'September' to 'asdfadsfadsf', then tested the
month name displayed in a dummy APPL.
Unfortunately the result was always 'September', not my changed text !!

Hi Dorothy,

Here is an other hint. Start the P83110 Application from the Fast Path and hit find.
Check that is there any row with your S (Spanish) Language code (2nd Column in the grid). If it is exist then does it containes the correct month names. Depending on your result add a new row with your S language code with your month name or correct the name of months.
The table behind the application is F83110.

I don't know that will it help or not, so please, let us know your results. Thanks.

Hi Zoltan,
Thanks for the hint (P83110), but unfortunately this is not the table being
accessed either !!
On our system it was set up correctly for Spanish, but to make sure I changed
the (English) text for September to 'dsfafafadsfasdf' and tested in our English
environment. My change was NOT reflected.

Yes I do know why you received your reply back without my response.....the Lotus
Notes function 'reply with history', does not function as expected with regard
to replying to the Forum.
