Hello, I am trying on the generation machine to get Java & HTML Generator
Version 1.0.0.2 working. It works on the JAS server but with directions
given in the JAS installation manual (version 1.5) it does not work. Can
anyone help me with this issue, please? Thanks

Hi,
First you need to install the OW Client and the java virtual machine on your
generator machine.
Then copy all the files from
x:\jdedwardsoneworld\b733\jas to a local directory (e.g. c:\b7\jas) (or ftp
these files if your JAS is on Unix).
Copy the file genapp.ini from c:\b7\jas to c:\Winnt (on your generator
machine).
Register the x:\b7\system\bin32\jdecom.dll (regsvr32 jdecom.dll) (on your
generator machine)
Add the WebAdmin=1 entry in the INSTALL section of the jde.ini file (on your
generator machine)
Run c:\b7\jas\gen.bat.

Hope this helps

Thanks Eugenio, I do not know if I have installed the virtual machine. I
have ask JDE about this and it is not in the documentation for the
generation machine. I am not sure what the virtual machine is or how to
install it. Thanks.
