Please be sure that the user uses the correct version of P4210 for ST-OT
because you will have problems of having ST's but no link to OT's (F4211
SDRCTO, SDRORN). Theses 2 fields make the link from ST to which OT. User
was using regular order version to split 1 detail line, the new split lines
were blank for theses fields. When doing the ship confirm process, nothing
was happening to the OT. A lot of work to fix it. But over all, it's a
great feature.
I am on version 7.3.2.2 and Denver does not believe that it is working
here. One guy here had a good backgound in AP, AR to make it work. I did
not do the initial setup but supporting it after. I have found 5 bugs and
SAR to apply but with this version we don't want to apply the sar's because
P4210 is use by sale people and we don't need more troubles. I have setup a
way of work to do the work around, so it is working.We are going to XE
soon.
Just to help you and verify that is not happening. I would presume that XE
is OK.
- When revising ST, can not add new order lines. So I told user to enter by
delivery, not a total for the week.
- When we pick confirm, 1 line on OT does not show lot/serial number.
- Sometimes the OT keep 1 line with the original order lines after the ship
confirm.
- If I revised 1 ST line, I need to enter 2 times the quantity amount to
reflect into the OT detail line.

How difficult is it to implement ST/OTs?
OTs were firmed and the supplying plant is seeing STs. However, we do not
have AAIs for ST/OTs.(Cardex currently shows transfers to us via a "Mexico
Transfer".)
Are there other issues to address before we can use the ST/OTs? Are there
any white papers for implementing ST/OT?(I haven't locate any, yet.)
