Input QR Code into Multiple Fields

We are trying to replace multiple 1D barcodes by a QR barcode to reduce number of scans in a picking process in the warehouse. Currently, operator uses a handheld scanner running JDE to scan individual barcode into different fields, and the scanner has a pre-set auto tab function. We would like to combine all 1D barcodes (about 7 of them) into one QR code with all information. However, we need to be able to fill correct information into the correct field (i.e. part number, location number, quantity...). A supplier suggests putting a delimiter ($, #, or %) between each section of information.

What would be the best way to configure this in JDE?
