Is there a way to identify the orchestrations that use a specific orchestration object (service request, rule, connector)?

Hi Jason,

Yes. You can do this by clicking on the About menu item inside the component. In the new studio (later than 9.2.4) this is in the Manage->About menu in the top right corner of the component.
