Hi all,
I have two questions relating to workflow:
1. When we set up the Email Profile for a person in the Employee Queue
Manager (specifying the mail type and email address), this enables the
person to receive emails both for workflow and for UBE jobs. How can we
arrange it so that Workflow emails are sent externally, and UBE jobs are
reported in the WorkCenter?
Alternatively, how do people control these emails? One way I can think
of is to use a spam filter at the email server, to drop all those
"OneWorld Job R09801 ZJDE0001 Completed" messages. Is there a better
way?
2. In our system we have Address Book Constant "Activate Email Security"
activated. This means the System Admin team cannot configure the Email
Profile for new and existing users. We don't know why this is configured
in our system - the responsible parties are no longer available. Two
possible ways around this are:
A. As part of the user setup process, disable the email security, set up
the profile, then re-enable the email security.
B. Disable Email Security, but limit access to the WorkCenter to the
user's own emails through row security. (This is unproven for us, yet.)
I'd be very interested to hear how these problems can best be resolved.
Thanks in advance,
Mark
