Hi all

The little red dot in DD items means there is a hover form attached.
I see 2 tables in P958973 etc, but I can't see how they then link to actual P object form.

Example
JDE_CUSTOMERHOVER_SHAN is one as is JDE_NOHOVER_LITM
but where is the link to the form they open stored. I suspect its the UID type field linking F958973 and F958974 linking off to somewhere else, but we haven't updated our XREF yet for me to check

Thanks

John

Hi John

P958973 - Defines the application that will be opened by the Hover (Red Dot).

P958974 - Defines which applications / users / environments that the Red Dot will appear on.

Hi Lawrence

Thanks mate. I was too busy looking at the P958974 side of it and wondering, cool but how does E2 know that JDE_ADDRESSBOOKHOVER_ALKY will open P01700 W01700A.....and you've answered me brilliantly :)

Except....and I maybe lookign at the wrong feature...JDE_NOHOVER_LITM appears over LITM fields. I can't find what form this is anywhere as the F958973 record has no APPL FORM listed. So it's probably P41700 :)

I wanted to know as I'll be making a few of my own

Thanks

John

Hi John

Looking at the default settings in the P958973 there are 4 records for LITM . The NoHover is not associated to an Application/Form

Therefore, I would imagine that this allows you to set a global that actually called a hover form and then at certain application / user level you could override this to "no Hover".

Kind Regards,
