Hi All,
Iam planning to implement a disaster recovery setup for one of our client.Our production system has DB in RAC and ES in cluster.We are on Solaris 11 OS and Oracle 12c DB and JDE 9.1.For production we are using Solaris cluster on the Enterprise servers.
I would like to know what kind of DR setup will require minimal manual intervention.
Is it good to go for different IP and hostnames for both DR and Prod or have same hostnames?I know JDE works mainly on hostnames.
Iam sure there will be many who have successfully implemented DR setups.It will be great help if i can get some tips on how to implement a DR setup.
Iam a CNC who has implemented few setups,but this is the first time iam working on clustering and DR setup.
