Dear List,
I am looking for companies who have successfully migrated from World to One
World, via conversion or via coexistance. I'm sure it's been done...? If you
have come to One World from World, I'd like to talk to you. Thanks in
advance! You may email me privately.

We're taking the Coexistence route. And so far, so good.
The big danger in going from World to OneWorld is to assume that the two products are
that much different so if I know World then I must know OneWorld.
Might be

Deanna,

We are also going the Coexistency route.
You can email me at [email protected].

Deanna and other JDELister,

My client is now Live !

Task include :

- Merging under OneWorld two company one was in World and the other was in OneWorld.
- All of the World vs OneWorld work was done with table conversion and a ODBC link to the AS/400.
- Number of record transfered from World to One World is about 7 million records (3 million just for F0911).
- There was already hundred of customization in OneWorld and a couple of hundred in World before the merge and we did a lot more before the GoLive.
- The company was Live in World on thursday and Live in OneWorld on Monday (4 days)
- Most of the time was used to transfert data (48 hours)
- ENTIRE implementation took only 7 months !

If you have any other question then feel free to ask !
