We have set up headerless detail grids before this release, and imported Excel data directly into the grid. It let you specify row/column etc. Worked great. Still works great, on the old programs.
A program I just wrote, when executed, only shows CSV as a choice, no Excel. It also shows a list of character sets, which defaults to one that works. We gave it row and column parameters for the CSV file as if it were actually Excel, and it WORKED like it was Excel. This isn't something I've ever controlled. It gives you the import tool, and it magically appears for Excel imports. Is there maybe some installation parameter we've set differently in this release? Something in the developer's profile?
