Get current user ID in application

Hi there,

I got a problem determining the user id for the EDUS field in a workfile. I am looking for a business or system function which returns the user id of the user which invoked the current application (UBE). Does anyone of you know such a function which one can call from NER and C components?
If there is no such function, could you give me a hint on how this is regularly done in JDE?

[FONT=arial, sans-serif]We generally use B9800100 function to fill work file user ,date and time fields.[/FONT]

You can select the system value, that is "SL UserID", in RDA or FDA.
Keep it simple.
