G/L J09110MAP - Journal Uploads

We are attemping to upload a multi-line Fixed Assets journal into G/L from spreadsheet to JDE. The problem we are having is that the "Item Number" field does not appear to be a field you can map using the upload template (J09110MAP) as the ASII data item is not in the list of available fields.

Any ideas ?

We are running World A7.3 cum 10 on an AS/400 620 box.

Steve:

J0911MAP looks very similar to JGLCNVSST (and corresponding JCNV0911) which
does have a field to map the FA number. There are found on menu MUPLD0911.
JGLCNVSST is the mapping DW that is used by the upload program JCNV0911

We populate one of the reference fields and then use Worldwriter to populate
ASID in the f0911z1. The origin is a several thousand line spreadsheet

It works fine for us.

To All: WE are on A73 Cum 9 and are in the process of implementing FA as
well but I do not find these programs or menu. Are these specific to Cum 10
or am I missing something.

We recently did a "one-time" upload of assets into G/L. I made a one
line program change to P09110. The Asset ID field exists in the F0911Z1,
but does not get mapped to in P09110. I mapped the reference 1 field
($LR1) to the Asset ID field in the F0911Z1 (VNASID). Left the program
in place long enough to do the mass upload, then removed the mod. Worked
like a charm. I would think the WW idea would work fine, too.
