G/L Class Code and Branch Plant

[crazy] Hi, we are trying to assign the G/L Cat code in our Sales order using the Item Branch record but it is not working.
It assigns IN20 to everything and this is not on the Item Master or the Item Branch or the Line Type. Where is it getting the G/L Class From? I thought it took it from the Item Branch.
How do I get this to work?
Thanks

Check your F41021 records. If the line type has an inventory interface of
Y... it pulls the G/L code not from the Item/Branch, but from the Item
Location file (F41021) which in itself uses the Item/Branch when a new
location is created. Let me know. thanks, Bobby

Take a look in F41021. GL class (for whatever reason) goes down to the
location level.

Hi,

Have you checked the Item/Branch Location record "G/L Class" as this is the
G/L Class JDE uses in it's processing not the Item master or Branch plant
G/l class

hope this helps

cheers
