Fw: question

Could you tell me where to post/find a question/answer on JDEList regarding
how to copy modules from environment-to-environment?

Stan Church

Module Copy

I need to copy financials from CRP to Prod. Then in about 30 days, I need to copy from CRP to Prod, just manufacturing. I don't want to touch financials in the mfg copy.
JDE Support won't support. They recommend doing the manual, program-to-program investigation in "cross reference" to determine which files are affected. Not exactly what I wanted to hear.

However, I know its been done before...a module by module copy of affected files.

Anyone out there? Help!

RE: question

Eric, I'm not sure what you are commenting on. My question is that I had
Outlook rules to move the hundreds of JDELIST email to a special folder and
now that the email is being sent directly to my email address instead of the
jdelist addresses, I can no longer split them out easily. I guess I want to
know if this change is permanent?

RE: question

All you have to do is to change your Outlook rule to point to the "body
text" which includes the hyperlink to www.JDELIst.com ?? This works fine
- all my JDEList email goes directly into a separate folder as it used to.

RE: question

Eric,
I also had rules set up in Lotus Notes R5. The field Sent by is being
loaded with [email protected]. Unfortunately the sent by field is
not a field I can filter on, only the sent from. Sent from is filled with
the name of the person that originally sent the e-mail to
[email protected]. That changes with every e-mail so I cannot filter
that. If you can change the sent from to have the [email protected]
in that field. It would be most helpful. Another possibility would be to
load jdeworld in the subject field.
your thoughts?

RE: question

From another user:

I use Lotus Notes and I set up a rule as follows:

When Sender contains owner-jdelist or Body contains JDEList or Body
contains JDELIST or Sender contains jdelist.com then move to ...
