Hi
Does anyone know if JDE have any FTP server where I can get service packs
etc? I cant download any updates which is becoming annoying.

Thanks
Kieran

Kieran,

JDE has a WWW server (www.jdedwards.com). To my knowledge there is no public FTP server. To access the http server use www.jdedwards.com. From the Home page select the Knowledge Garden Logon. You will be prompted for your customer address number (user name) and a password. If you don't know what these values are then contact your J.D. Edwards representative or the administrator in your company who should know these things.

The Knowledge Garden contains numerous specific problem fixes as well as service pack downloads (for some versions). It has a pretty good database of problems and known fixes that is searchable. Its a must have tool in my opinion for supporting a OneWorld installation.

Thanks
I tried all this and it doesnt work after I agree to the license agreement.
It just sits for about 10 minutes and then my browser comes back with an
error. We're on B7331 so I cant use ESUs either thats why I was hoping for
a FTP site instead of using a browser. I know ftp's working on my PC

Cheers

Hi Kieran,
You can download the Service Packs from the JDEdwards Knowledge
Garden. Just go to www.jdedwards.com, click on the knowledge garden,
login.
When you are in the knowledge garden, click on products, then click on
Oneworld Online. After this, you will be taken to a new screen. When this
happens, click on Release Information, then Service Packs. You will get a
screen showing you all the service packs and a field labeled Link to
Software Updates. Click on the proper Service Pack and the service pack
information and the proper Software Update Number will appear. Enter this
number in the link to software updates screen, and with your companies
administrator password, you will be able to download it.
