E9.2 Forecast generation for a specific year in future.

Our client would like to generate Forecast for 2025 based on sales from 2021. Is this doable in vanilla JDE? And if so, please provide the solution in detail.

In late 2024, they could.

If they want it now, they could run forecasting, get a 2021/2022 forecast based on 2021 sales, then copy those records to dates in 2025.

Keep in mind, though, that this 2025 forecast will not be very accurate.

Using Resource Requirements Planning (RRP) might be a better way to predict what they need to do to handle 2025 requirements.
