Flat file table conversion

In the past, I have successfully performed table conversions from a local
Access database, by creating local environments and datasources pointing
locally.

Is there a way to load flat files into JDE tables, without first importing
them to Access or some other database?

Thanks for your help.

Edward,

You can build a table conversion object in OneWorld to read from a flat file
and write to a JDE table. The tool itself is pretty straightforward and
there is a table conversion guide from JDE to get you started. I think
there is also a 1 or 2 day class if you prefer that route.

The setup can be a bit tricky for developers, but a decent CNC person should
be able to assist with any special OCM mappings or environment setup you
need.

Good Luck.
