Fixed Asset Error in B7332

Hello List!

We are running B7332 SP10 on on Intel/ NT environment using SQL 7. We are
having difficulty with Fixed Assets. I was hoping that somebody could help
us out. Has anybody experienced the following?

From the JDE OW Explorer menu:

Financials;
Fixed Assets;
Daily Processing;
Master Information;
Click Find;
Highlight an Asset and Click Cost Summary on Row Exit Bar
Receive the following error: Business Function has caused a memory
violation. F1201ValidateAssetNumber [Invalid
Overwrite or Read]. The system may become unstable.

We have a call open with JDE, but it has been dragging on for weeks with no
further progress. Any help offered would be greatly appreciated.

1.) Have you applied 4116422 prerequisite ESU already? It corrects a lot of error under B7332. See more about this ESU (e.g list of corrected errors, effected objects, etc.) on the JDE Knowledge Garden.
2.) Have you tried to search JDE Knowledge Garden for an SAR?
If you won't get answer on the Forum then try it.
Good luck,
Zoltán

Zoltan,
We have applied the 4116422 prerequisite ESU, but still getting the error.
Interestingly though, when we test this same functionality out in the
Pristine Environment, it does not work for us there either.

I have scoured the KG in search of a SAR, but have been unable to find one
that addresses our specific problem.

Thanks for the suggestions.

About Searching KG

Unfortunately, I could not help you more in your concrete issue but if your Regional Settings is different then English(US) then please, see my post with the title "TIP: Searching KG vs Regional Settings" here on the Developers or on the General board. Maybe, your search for an SAR will be successful.
Good luck,
Zoltán

One more tip:
Modify your client and server JDE.INI setting increasing the value from 15 to 20
[DB CACHE INFORMATION]
Library Cache=20
Allegedly it could cure some of memory violations, maybe yours too.
Please, let us know if it works.
