Hello!
First post here! thank you for all your help so far, great to be part of this community!
I am trying to change from fiscal year to calendar year by the end of this year. my company/business is currently from 7/1/2020 to 6/30/2021 and we're trying to shorten this fiscal year to begin a new calendar year.
I believe it's going to be an easy transition if i just end the the date patterns from 6/30/2021 to 12/31/2020 (P0010 > Form > Date Patterns). then starting the new date pattern for 1/1/2021 to 12/31/2021 in the attached. Also, past years do not need to be recalculated
After some research on changing dates, most people said you need to re-post ledger. but considering my situation is transitioning at the end of this year , I thought i would not need to do this.
Thank you in advance for any input.
