First Sign on

Hi list,

I think this is a simple question...but I don't know the answer.

I need the first time a user sing on, OW ask him/her for the password. I tried typing 'password' and user name but didn't work.

Any help will be useful.

Try type in the user ID in the password field, I mean user password same as use ID, hope this helps..

after the user id have been created in jde ow, by default the password will
follow exactly as the user id. to change the password of this user id, go to
menu P98OWSEC to change the password. Hope this will help. Rgds.

harold,
i think you are asking if you can have the user assign his own password the first time he logs on. i don't think this is an option. either it is the same as user name or it is a password assigned by the administrator. he must log on with assigned password and then he may change his password.
