How can I tell who has what object checked out?

Promotion Manager (Fast path PM) will list objects (except versions) by
user and pathcode; UTB on the F983051 Versions table for the pathcode in
question - see VRCHKOUTSTS and VRMKEY for the check-out status and machine
key to see versions checked out.

Go to GH9081 (Object Mgt) and run the check out log report (P9882000).

If you want to do this inside OW,

GH9081/Promotion Manager

Location = *
Status Code = 3
FIND

This will give you a list of all objects checked out everywhere.

...or you can always do what everyone else does and work your appropriate
database magic over the F9861 table.

Of course, this all assumes you aren't on XE where all this stuff has
changed. Maybe someone else can help out with the appropriate table name(s)
there.

Use the Promotion Manager. In fast path type PM, or go to menu GH9081. In PM
use * for both Location and Status Code. You should see all the objects by
location.

kjjdelist,
It seems you didn't get it; at least I don't see any confirmation the replies were helpful! A reason could be you are not using the Forum; it is faster than hotmail, believe me.
Which one did you use? Promotion Manager, of course.
You're very welcome, citizen K

Goto Object Librarian
Click on Advance
It should display locations & user id on all objects availabe in all libraries & workstations (unless the "erase check-out" was done).

I am just starting JDE but I was told that if you look in Object Librarian
you can find out who has what checked out. I haven't actually tried it, but
that is what the teacher said.

Goto FastPath, type PM and you can filter by object, machine and user.
