We are using the F0311Z1 / F0411Z1 / F0911Z1 files to post transactions into our World system.

It looks to me as if once a batch has been posted to the system that the transactions in these files can be removed (P00PURGE).

Can anyone please confirm that this is the case and that the data in these files is not needed once a batch has been posted. I couldn't find anything of help on the KG.

It doesn't look as if any of these files have ever been purged on our system.

Thanks in advance.

yep, you should be able to purge and reorg those files with no problem. Once uploaded and posted, they serve no purpose in the Z files anymore.

Programmer/Developer/Anything-They-Give-Me
World A7.3 11 (quite stable and usually happy)
Attempting CO with Xe, AS/400, SP14.2 V4R5 (not happy)

.Yon purge these files once the processed flag is updated with
a "Y" this would be feild "EDSP"

.Tony,

You are correct that you can purge the transactions if they have been
successfully processed into JDE. There is a processing option on the Batch
input DW's which if set to '1' will delete the transactions when they are
successfully processed into JDE. If you change the PF's to reuse deleted
records and set these processing option on, you are done.

You are right once you update your production files with this data and the
field vnedsp(f0911z1) does not equal a blank, you are ok to purge the data.

Thanks for your help everyone.
Files are now reorg'ed - have saved 130mb of space on F0311Z1, F0911X1 and
F06116Z1 alone!
