I now can explain my problem better.
I am developing a new program that will update files that I have created.
During the developement procedure it was decided that I needed an additional field in the key of the new file.
I added a new key to the file. Recompiled the file and made sure that the only view over the file contained the new keys. I also have deleted glbtbl and glbltbl from my developement pc and allowed the files to be refreshed.
I then went into my program and placed the view on the form and made sure that all of my links, field etc were correct. I validated all of the event rules with no errors.
Now I come out and try to run the program in OMW and it gives me a message that the column does not exist.
I suspect that somewhere there is a old file - new file confilct.
I do not have the option of going back to the original version as this is new developement.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. They don't teach you this in school.
Thanks
Roger
