Few queries about FormScape 3.4.2 Enterprise Edition

Hi Listers

We are having trouble reading pdf files. My queries below are related to this topic.

List of Queries:

1. Do we need to setup the PDF Input Connector or is it available by default in the 3.4.2 version?

2. Do we need to setup the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Productivity Pack or is it available by default in the 3.4.2 version?

Thanks in advance

Hi

I think the PDF input is an option

The EnterpriseOne Productivity pack is only necessary if you are going to use OSA, we don't use the it, we print all to one virtual formscape job and this job identifies the report (from the report name), and passes it to their proper job to process (search in this forum I had explained my setup a few times)

Hello, we have done a few projects for JDE customers, we will suggest them to buy JDE connector to work with the matadata in the PDF, alternatively, we have also read the PDF with a PDF opener , using the pdf opener is a possible way to develop a Formscape process. Cheers
