Hello Folks,

Has anyone faced FDA not responding error when you try to get into Start
Form Design Tools?.It workd fine the very first time you try to get in, but
all subsequent attempts give a error.
The changes made in the design work only if you log out of OW cmpletely.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.

OW XE AS/400 SP13.Co-existence A7.3 Cum 12.

Are you properly existing FDA using the application tab and then exit ? if you are using the "X" at the right top of the screen maybe some threads are not being closed properly thus causing the problem getting back in.

NT 4.0 SP5, SQL 7.0, One World B7321 SP12.4, Citrix 1.8 (XE soon)

Yes....Im aware of the fact that you mentioned. The form also does not
reflect the changes unless and until we log out of OW completely. We did try
purge cache,but that didnt work.

How did you purge the cache? I didn't find this option in OW Explorer in XE and curently I do not have access to a B7321 platform.
Was your APPL open (run) when you opened it with FDA or did you opened
it (run) while you were working with it in FDA?

OK. Now I found the "Purge Cache" in the Form menu of W0085N User Default Revision form in P0085 APPL in our XE.
I have never used it because I have never read about its real functionality in the documentations. Now I was looking for information about it again in the help and Foundation documentation without succes.
You can check that there is any user override for your application using P98950. Existing User Overrides for changed objects also can cause problems. If you find any entry for your APPL then delete them.
By my experiences, the local spec also could be a bit corrupted after a time. You can try to delete the "glbltbl", "ddict" and "ddtext" .ddb and .xdb files in your "spec" subfolder.
If it does not help then check in your APPL and related custom objects, re-install OneWorld and Check Out your APPL.
Maybe it could help. Let us know if it does. Thanks.
