F05100 Resource Competency - Table Triggers

I am in the process of customizing Competency Management in JDE 8.12. I do manual insert/update/delete operations on F05100. But when I do the operations, it takes too much time to complete it.
As I guessed, table triggers are the culprits.
The development is in initial phase, can I disable/ remove the triggers on competency table ?
