External Data Selection from another report

Dear All,

Is it Possible to call a report External data selection to an another calling Report??

Scenario:

I am calling A/R Report from A/P using Report Interconnect,I hav to Run A/P report using Multiple companies in data selection.

Is it possible to Get the same Data selection In A/R Report also?

Please Suggest me

Hi Rajan,

Check the "Use Data Sel/Seq from a Section" System Function (General Category) under Initialize Section event or the "Get UBE Data Selection" and "Use Report Data Selection" Business Functions. There are some pre-requisite regarding the Business Views.

These were discusse more times on JDEList, so please, check the archives for further information.

I have tried those part.It takes static data selection.Report doesnt take the External data selection during runtime.

Runtime data selection is covered in the system funtion Use data selection/sequencing starting from toolset 8.98.X
