Excess Inventory report ?

Hi List,

Is there any report in OneWorld to see what's the Excess Inventory Qty in
any Business Unit ? The requirement is to compare Inventory Qty against
Forecast Qty and give the difference. My doubt is when Forecast file (F3460)
is populated does it look in the BoM to get all the children under the
parent item and populate the children to F3460 also or not. If OneWorld does
that then I can create a custom report to compare Qty against Forecast Qty
and Print the difference easily.

Any thoughts ??

Env. is B733.2 SP, 11.3, UNIX and NT.

Thanks in advance.

Pradeep.

Hi K.J. Anand,

Is your issue resolved already? If yes then please, let us know how. If not then:

1.) What kind of type of form do you have?
2.) If it is an update capable one then both field have to be accept input?
3.) Is your application a custom one?

Depending on your answeres, in some circumtances you can change the BSVW where you join the table to itself based on the primary unique index and you include the field to the BSVW twice, once from the Primary table second from the secondary. Although I suppose making some ER moving the data to a Data Item form control is a bit simplier. What is your oppinion?

Ooops!
Excuse me. I wanted to answer an other issue but somehow I got out of synch somehow while I checked the old posts which were posted while I was on a long holiday.
Excuse me again. I will copy my post under the appropriate one.
