Event Rules Error

Hi Jdelist,
I think we have some serious application issues which I
don't really understand the reason why . I had a user just in Stock
Availability and previously
in an enquiry screen , made a few changes here and there as normal .
Then this Event Rules Error message " [Invalid Overwrite or Read] The system
may
become unstable . Please debug the Application using the Event Rule
Debugger . Application 41202 Event:Button Clicked.

This is well alien to me , why am I seeing this message ? and what
can I do to make sure this will not appear again?

Hi Sally,

First, could be useful to attach your system configuration informations to your issues. Please, do not forget it next time. Thanks.

Yes, "[Invalid Overwrite or Read] ..." message is a general issue.
In some cases, higher level SPs solves some of these but not all up to know.
Other possible remedy could be sometimes to clear all User Overrides of the applications.

Please, check the archives of the Forum for "Invalid Overwrite or Read" as well as JDE Knowledge Garden.
