Want to Enhance your participation in Quest?

The E1 Manufacturing and Distribution User Group (E1MDUG) is looking for volunteers to be a part of its Enhancement Request group. Specifically we are in need of someone to take a leadership role for the Enhancement Request Team focused on Purchase Order Advance Preferences.

As many of you know, during the E1MDUG annual meeting at Collaborate11, we identified (by membership vote) the enhancement requests that the group will focus its efforts on for 2011. The enhancements that were deemed to be our priority and the members who volunteered to lead the efforts are:

--> Ability to change Primary Location – Don Sauve

-->Stocking Type “O” – Bobby Hoeflich

-->P4310 Viewing/Editing of Original Promised Delivery Date – Sue Hicks/Marcus Oppenrieder

-->Item Mass Update – Karl Van Noord

-->Copy Cost with Currency Conversion – Vanda DeMotte

-->PO Advance Preferences – OPEN

-->Outbound Consignment – Megan Rae (led by Life Sciences Group)

Unfortunately, the original leader for the PO Advance Preferences request has needed to step aside and the E1MDUG is in need of another brave soul to take on this The expectations of an Enhancement Request Team Leader are:

-Coordinate team interactions (calls, meetings, etc.)

-Facilitate requirements gathering across participating member organizations

-Ensure documentation of requirements in alignment with Business Requirements Document template/Quest Enhancement Request Tool

-Ensure completion of documentation by the end of calendar year 2011

-Ensure that requirements are submitted to Oracle through a service request with Oracle Support (and through product manager)

If that sounds like an opportunity that you (or you and a friend) are interested in, please email me at [email protected] or Scott Keener at [email protected]. You can also contact us by connecting and sending a message through the Quest web site.

Thank you for considering this request.
