See E1: DEMO: EnterpriseOne Demo Standalone 9.2 with Tools Release 9.2 Information and Troubleshooting (Doc ID 2062240.1) :

"NOTE: The Standalone 9.2 media is temporarily unavailable to download on Oracle Software Delivery Cloud. It is being remastered by Development. Keep a watch on this note for the latest updates."

I saw that, too.

Oracle 'really' needs to make it 'simpler' to install. REALLY....

Minimally, they need to start installing it on at least ten of their own machines, before they release software to the wild - just so 'someone' has to go through the same frustration that 'we' do..

(db)

It really wouldn't be a big deal to do at least a tiny amount of Quality Assurance before Oracle/JDE releases software. Its really ridiculous how in this day and age they completely failed with Standalone. All they need is 4 or 5 virtual machines with Windows 2003, 2008, 2012, 8.1, 7 installed on them and go through the install. Takes a day or maybe two to do all 5 machines and sign-off. Its frustrating that there was so much missing.

If Oracles financials didn't look so good, I'd accuse them of cutting costs. But then maybe they look so good today because they are cutting corners.

<sigh>

I could install the Standalone 9.2 on a Virtual Box, but not following exactly what was on the script. There are some problems that they forget to mention like, the database will never connect if you don't change a few things... etc.

But after struggling a little, I could install it. However, it is not working as well as I expected... I found some important tables completely empty, plus some features are deactivated and you need to go activate them (like the "Customize Grid" feature.. by default it was disabled). Anyway.. if they are gonna give us a better media pack to install, that's good news.... I hope they do more testing this time !!
