It can get better than that. In B7321 we found that the invoice number was
in two parts. The invoice number itself and a separate suffix. Where a
sales order has lines with differing due dates the program creates multiple
invoices with the same DOC value but with incrementing suffix numbers. We
had to rework the print program and include the suffix.
By the way, the different dates was an "opportunity" rather than
intentional.
