Disable Export Grid (Excel/Doc) based on Role

Hi,

I need to disable the export to excel or doc functionality in the grid, based on User Roles. Needed to check if this is achievable via Security.
We are on 9.0 (8.98.48)

Sadly we cannot see anyway around this either. We have tested this but to no avail I am afriad.

As Graham says it looks like you need code to do this within individual programs at the moment.

I guess the logic was that if you can see it, why cant you export it?
On the plus side, it’s an easy coding change if you do have a particular requirement.
