Deploy Business Services failed without detailed errors in jasdebug

Hi all,

We tried to deploy a business services package to OAS but failed. I could not find any errors in jas and jasdebug log. The report just show "60 Error". Even I use Oracle Enterprise Manager to deploy, it is not successful as well. I post part of jasdebug log here.

I have spent much time on it and found that a few people use JDE business services. Hope that anyone has this experience can share with all of us here. Thanks.

Cheers,
Philip

Hi,

Is here any one use JDE business services? I think it is not popular. May be we can support each other here.

Hi Philip,

I have the same issue. Hopefully you have resolved the issue at your end. Is it possible to share the same with me.

Thank you for your HELP.

Thanks

Hi, there.

For those of you that, like myself, frown upon revival of this long time dead threads... I had the answer at hand, so I thought I could help just a little :)

So, please check jdelog.properties file found under "\system\classes". There's a [LOG2] that is disabled there. If you enable those lines the system will generate a very detailed log on BSSV build/deploy, etc.
Just remember to deactivate it when you are done, just like you would do with normal debug tracing.

Check the "jasdebug" logs generated for [PACKAGEBUILD] tags.
I would also recommend checking Oracle MySupport for "E1: BSSV How to Turn on Logging for troubleshooting BSSV Package Build and deployment Issues [ID 1100965.1]" doc.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Marcelo

Hi Philip
Check two things mainly if not generated any error when to build the package, when generating the package was due to create one .ear file is for the OAS and with the user you are trying to deploy the package should have access the server manager.
Check the log of R98825F report that is responsible for deploying the BSSV package
See the documentation that you attached.

I'm working on Business Services (and oracle SOA).
I had some issue with package deploy but often it was a build error. For my convenince, i always select to build only a few BS to ensure that the error, if exist, cames from my own (then a rebuild all the BS).

Another points is Server Manager; last error was caused by server manager comunication failure. Agents was running but in server manager console there were duplicated home, (2 home for each agent) so when deploy query the SM it's fails showing that the agent is not running (but it's not true). Removing this duplicated entry resolved my deployment issue.

I was encurred in randome deployments fails too. But resubmitting deploy after few seconds resolve the question.

This is my experience, i hope it's useful for someone.

Regards.

Bruno Condemi.

Hi Philip,

I face the same problem at times. Restarting the Oracle services on the business servrices server and trying to deploy the package always works for me.
