Decimal-data error on FASTR

Hi there,

We have recently experienced the following error when running a FASTR
report:

Message . . . . : P83400 164900 decimal-data error in field (C G S D F).
Cause . . . . . : The RPG program P83400 in library JLJDFOBJ found a
decimal-data error at statement 164900. One field did not contain valid
numeric data. The digit and/or sign is not valid.

The report bombs with this message when running against a specific hierarchy point. If we select a different
hierarchy point, the report runs like a charm. We tried running another FASTR report using the offending hierarchy
point and it works.

Our technical people are looking into it, but I wondered if any of you have encountered/resolved this issue before?

Appreciate any feedback.

We discovered that this FASTR report had the Include Zero Rec option (on
the Override Default Information screen) set to Y.
We tested several structure points, some worked and some didn't. When we
removed the Include Zero Rec option, all the structure points which had
previously bombed now work.

Logging problem with JDE Support in Denver.

FYI,

Found the problem in the Knowledge Garden:
3350583 FASTR OS Structure w/Zero Rec System83

Probably should have checked there first!!
